The Society for Promotion of e-Governance (SPeG)

The Society for promotion of e-Governance (SPeG) is a non profit organization registered under Indian Societies Act. The organization was started by a  group of e-Government practitioners, Government officers and leagal experts in the year 2004. The organization today is a thought leader pioneering the efforts to accelerate the use of mobile devices / technologies for e-Government. SPeG is currently working  with various government agencies and helping them initiate mobile government projects in India. The organization hosts world's first observatory and knowledge portal on mobile government (http://www.mgovworld.org).
